The 2023 CIO Roundtable, held at SI’s 30th Annual Conference on April 14, paid homage to these professionals’ collaboration and innovation while offering a place to discuss vexing challenges and technological opportunities like artificial intelligence (AI). Christy Harris Lemak, PhD and professor at University of Alabama at Birmingham, also recapped her joint research project with SI around leaders’ strategic perspectives concerning digital health, IS and technology, focusing on joint CEO/CIO competencies to accelerate transformation and drive effective system growth.
