Tushar Mehrotra
Tushar Mehrotra is SVP of analytics for OptumInsight, Optum’s $12B business providing solutions and services to enhance decision-making and improve value across the health care system. In his role he oversees analytic product, services, and data assets – he is responsible for the product and data strategy across the Payer, Provider, Life Sciences, and State Government markets. He also leads the analytics solution and delivery teams as part of Optum’s Market Performance Partnerships, encompassing 10+ year partnerships with health systems.
Prior to joining Optum, Mehrotra spent seven years at McKinsey & Company in Washington, D.C. He was one of the core leaders in the North America Digital and Analytics practice for health care. He has published articles on health care digital and analytics topics and has served on panels and roundtables with leaders in the industry.
Mehrotra earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in electrical engineering, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in strategic management and finance.
