Snehal, Senior Vice President Ancillary and Support Services, has over 15 years expertise delivering healthcare model transformations across the Government, Healthcare and Retail sectors. He brings innovation and leadership to influence and shape the future and growth of Rehabilitation, Imaging, Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Sleep Lab services.

Prior to joining Wellstar Health System, Snehal served as President PBM Operations and Group Director Managed Care for Safeway/Albertsons where he developed strategic initiatives centered on pharmacy retail operations and supply chain.

Snehal’s experience also includes serving as the Commanding Officer for the 344th Combat Support Hospital in Fort Hamilton, NY, and as the Chief Pharmacy Officer for the combat hospital unit.

He holds a doctorate in pharmacy from St. John’s University and an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology.

He currently serves on the Boards of Mercer University College of Pharmacy, Chattahoochee Technical College and Partners Coop, Inc. He has served as a Taskforce Member for the California Pharmacists Association and Georgia Pharmacists Association.

He and his wife, Priyal, live in Alpharetta with their two active, young sons.
