Bruce G. (Skip) Lemon

Mr. Lemon is a healthcare consulting professional with over 35 years of experience in strategy development, program management, system integration, clinical and revenue cycle process improvement, interim leadership, board education, and outsourcing. His career has focused on serving dozens of clients in the healthcare industry including health systems, medical groups, health insurance plans, and software companies.

Skip currently serves as Managing Director and national leader of the IT Advisory Services practice for Impact Advisors. This group consists of over 100 healthcare IT consulting professionals providing a wide range of services including IT Assessments, IT Strategy Development, Software Selection, ROI and TCO Planning, Program Management, Technology Infrastructure Optimization, Enterprise Security, Enterprise Imaging, New Facility IT Planning, Digital Health, Cloud Migration, Analytics/Decision Support, and AI strategy development.

Mr. Lemon’s healthcare clients have included a wide range of organizations ranging from small community hospitals to large multi-state healthcare systems that include a diverse network of hospital and clinics, small and large medical groups, and health insurance plans. Skip has played a leadership role on a large variety of projects including:
• Multiple IT assessment and long-range strategic planning efforts, resulting in 3–5-year tactical plans that align IT with enterprise goals and objectives.
• Multiple design, selection, implementation planning, ROI analysis, procurement, and contract negotiation efforts with a wide variety of software and service providers.
• Multiple initiatives to plan, design, implement and operate a Program Management function to proactively manage resources, timelines, budgets, and benefits associated with multi-year transformation efforts.
• Served as an interim leader for multiple clients, including filling Chief Information Officer and Chief Revenue Cycle leadership roles.
• Served as the project leader of multiple revenue cycle performance improvement projects designed to optimize patient financial services quality, enhance employee satisfaction and productivity, while also driving material financial benefits (e.g., incremental cash, recurring net revenue).

Mr. Lemon enjoys working with all levels of client personnel, including Board and C-suite members, departmental leaders, physician and nursing leaders, and staff. Skip has worked throughout his career with C-suite and Board members to plan, design, and implement major performance improvement efforts, typically enabled by IT. These initiatives are usually designed to prepare for upcoming change, deal with current challenges, and enable organizational vitality and the accomplishment of enterprise vision and goals.
