Murat Uralkan serves as director of innovation at Houston Methodist Center for Innovation. He is responsible for establishing the Center for Innovation program, focusing on digital technologies and technology enablement, and fostering a culture of innovation within the hospital system. Mr. Uralkan has been with the Center for Innovation since its inception, and he previously served as program manager.

Prior to that, he held the prestigious administrative fellow position at Houston Methodist and worked with executive leadership on various strategic initiatives, including the formation of the Center for Innovation. Mr. Uralkan has also worked as a consultant with Houston Methodist Global. He has diverse international project experience, having completed strategy, business development and operational commissioning projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

He holds a Master of Health Administration degree from the Sloan Program at Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Bogazici University, Turkey.
