System Administrator of Quality and Performance Improvement | Memorial Health

Lance Millburg has over 15 years in healthcare information technology and operations improvement. He currently serves as the System Director of Decision Sciences for Memorial Health System in Springfield, IL. In this role, Lance works closely with executive leadership to establish the data and analytics strategy for the health system, and with his team to execute the tactics required to accomplish the strategy. He leads a dedicated team of data scientists and data engineers that work hard every day to turn information into actionable insights, in order to support the mission of improving the lives of the communities served.

Prior to his time in Decision Sciences, he served several roles in both Operations Improvement and Information Services. During this tenure, he was an instrumental part of the team that earned Memorial Medical Center the American Hospital Association’s Quest for Quality prize in 2016.

Lance earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, as well as his MBA from the University of Illinois in Springfield. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He makes his home in central Illinois with his wife and four children.
