As Senior Vice President of Clinical Solutions, John Doulis, MD, leads teams responsible for all content curation, clinical and technology solutions at FDB. Dr. Doulis is a physician with more than 20 years of broad experience in health informatics and in designing, managing and perfecting information systems that support health enterprise innovation and patient safety.

Prior to joining FDB, Dr. Doulis was Chief Informatics and Information Officer at MedCare Investment Funds in Nashville, where he was responsible for the development of the information technology investment strategy. In that capacity, he served CEO and President of digiChart, Inc. and more recently CEO of Informatics Corporation of America.

Earlier in his career, as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and Chief Operations Officer of the Informatics Center at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Doulis led the Informatics Center’s efforts to provide the most effective informatics and information technology infrastructure to meet the needs of the diverse operating units of VUMC.

Dr. Doulis currently serves as a Director for Quire, Inc. and for Angel Eye, Inc. Dr. Doulis received a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and MD degrees from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia and has an extensive publication and presentation record.
