As the Director of Analytics and Innovation at Banner Health, Gil manages a team of data scientists whose responsibility is to provide analytic support to inform clinical and financial strategy. Gil has led efforts that provide innovative data-driven solutions and insightful analyses to various departments including clinical, process optimization, population health, supply chain, HR, digital business, marketing, etc.

He earned a PhD in Mathematics (Arizona State), Master’s in Statistics (Arizona State), and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Purdue). He has over 10 years of data science experience in multiple diverse industries including home loan/mortgage, credit card, marketing, engineering, insurance, and healthcare.
