Ed Kopetsky, CIO of Stanford Children’s Health, is an accomplished healthcare executive with expertise in integrated healthcare systems, information technology, operations and cost improvement, and consulting. He contributes nationally and locally to numerous professional organizations, including the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) as a founding member, board chair, and current co-chair of the CHIME Opioid Task Force.

Mr. Kopetsky was named one of the top 20 CIOs driving change in the U.S. healthcare system, and in 2019 was awarded the CHIME-HIMSS John E. Gall Jr. Healthcare CIO of the Year. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering – Health Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
