Chuck Appleby is Editor in Chief at Scottsdale Institute, where he has been involved in writing, communications and publishing of thought leadership content for nearly 30 years. He has 34-years experience in the healthcare industry as a journalist, writer, media relations and marketing communications consultant. Focusing on healthcare and IT, he has written and consulted for some of the most prominent healthcare experts and visionaries in the country, as well as for a virtual Who’s Who of corporate healthcare clients. He was an associate editor of the books “Improving Outcomes with Clinical Decision Support: An Implementer’s Guide, Second Edition” (HIMSS 2012) and “Improving Medication Use and Outcomes with CDS: A Step-by-Step Guide” (HIMSS 2009).
