Carrie Damon
Carrie Damon is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Centura Health. Centura Health is the Rocky Mountain and Central Plains region’s health care leader with 17 hospitals, two senior living communities, health neighborhoods, physician practice and clinics, home care and hospice services and Flight For Life® Colorado, and an extensive network of providers across Colorado and western Kansas, with $3.8 billion annual net revenue. In her role as CIO, she is responsible for strategy, execution and support of all clinical and business systems, informatics, architecture, data and analytics, infrastructure and operations, security, project management and business relationship management. Her team partners with the clinical and business leaders to deliver value and is comprised of highly talented individuals with both IT and clinical backgrounds. IT continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing a world-class health record for patients and providers through consistently being rated as a top performer, with a 9 Gold Star rating, in Epic’s Honor Roll program.
Prior to joining Centura Health, Carrie was the Vice President of IT at Molson Coors Brewing Company where she where she implemented a new organizational strategy and structure, leading to an improvement in quality by 10% and productivity by 45% in less than two years. She has also held executive leadership positions focused on driving cultural and transformational change, improving customer experience, and leading growth, technology, and digital enablement initiatives at both Western Union and Accenture.
Carrie received her Bachelor of Arts in economics from Colorado College and is currently actively pursuing her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at Colorado State University. Carrie and her husband, Tony, live in Denver and have two daughters.
