Dr. Brian Fengler is the co-founder and CMO of EvidenceCare. During his career as an emergency physician, Brian saw and experienced providers struggling to access evidence-based content quickly and at the bedside. Looking to fill this gap in the healthcare IT space, Brian founded EvidenceCare in 2014.

Brian has spent his career aiming to advance the field of medicine. After attending medical school at State University of New York Upstate Medical University and finishing his residency at the University of Virginia Health System in 2008, Brian moved to Nashville where he began his practice in the emergency department of St. Thomas Health System. He was a partner-owner of Middle Tennessee Emergency Partners physician group which delivered emergency room physician services at St. Thomas. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine for the University of Tennessee/St. Thomas residency program.

He was also a founding physician and managing director of Physicians Urgent Care, a first-of-its-kind, multi-site practice that delivers care by ED professionals in a setting alternative to an emergency room.

In 2016, Dr. Fengler left the daily practice of medicine to focus full-time on his work at EvidenceCare.
