Josh Lee

Josh is a principal at Monitor Deloitte and is the leader of the firm’s US Healthcare Strategy Practice. Based in Boston, he has extensive experience in enterprise and business unit strategy, large-scale transformation, innovation, operations, and organization strategy. In addition to deep healthcare experience, his strategy background spans multiple industries and private and public sector strategic transformations both in the US and around the world.

In healthcare, he has worked across all areas of the global healthcare ecosystem including: academic medical centers, for-profit and non-profit systems, commercial payers, life sciences, public health organizations, and in national/federal health. In addition to extensive U.S. experience, Josh has served clients in Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. At Monitor Deloitte he leads several cross-sector and strategic initiatives focused on retail healthcare, the emergence of “orthogonal systems,” and payer/provider convergence.

For the last 15 years, Josh has served as executive advisor to Health Leads and The Health Initiative, an innovative social determinants of health organization that is mobilizing a national effort to shift the healthcare industry to focus on core drivers of health.

He received an MBA and Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study in Germany. Josh graduated from Columbia University with a major in Philosophy.
