Nancy Yates, MS, RN RN-BC
Nancy Yates, MS RN, RN-BC is the Vice President & Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) for Centura Health in Denver Colorado. Nancy partners with stakeholders to leverage technology in Centura’s health care practices to optimize workflows for our nursing and ancillary clinical areas. She leads the clinical informatics and training teams to help meet the safety, quality, efficiency and clinician-facing goals for Centura Health.
After earning her BS in Nursing at Montana State University, Nancy began her career at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mont. She served progressive roles in cardiac care, labor and delivery, pediatrics and PICU before moving to informatics. In 2003, she earned her MSN with a minor in clinical systems management. This led her on a journey to improve patient care as she increasingly acquired roles involving executive leadership with a focus on informatics. She served as a CNO, Epic expert and as Group Vice President of Nursing Informatics at Providence St. Joseph Health in Renton, WA before joining Centura Health in 2019.
