
Tonda Gosnell
Current Responsibilities
Ms. Gosnell is a Population Health Project Manager for Triad HealthCare Network (“THN”) of the Cone Health System. Her responsibilities include assisting with the development,
implementation, and operation of programs designed to promote population health for THN, an Accountable Care Organization (“ACO”) in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.
She is currently responsible for a Home-Based Palliative Initiative, a Virtual Behavioral
Health initiative, and several initiatives to support patient engagement and health behavior
change.
Prior Experience
Previously, Ms. Gosnell has spent several years in public health and health education developing policy and built environment changes. Additionally Ms. Gosnell also served several years as a Program Manager for one of the Community Care of North Carolina networks. She was responsible for continued development and embedment of the model of Medicaid medical home in a four county region, while managing a model of care for uninsured in a 7 county region in Western North Carolina.
Education, Awards and Professional Affiliations
Ms. Gosnell holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion from Appalachian State University.
Ms. Gosnell was a poster presenter at the 37th Annual Congress of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurse on a pre-joint surgery patient education project.
